Hello world!

31 03 2010

Making this blog is my next step to a new life in New Zealand. So far I got a visa and a ticket. My employer knows that I will leave the organization and I now have to get detached from my life here, which is a bit more complicated than I expected. For example, I have all these contracts with firms like a fitness center, the phone company, network organizations, sport clubs, the library and so on. I will have to cancel all these contracts all with different rules and terms. Well, I won’t bore you too much with that stuff.

More fun things to organize are the shipping of our stuff and the selling of all the mess we gathered together during our lifetime. That is a very refreshing idea. Finally, I truly can get rid off the crap people gave (sorry if you did) and never liked, but still wanted to save because I felt obliged to. People surely would understand that you are not taking it with you, don’t they? ;-)

Another fun thing is planning all the last things to do here in Europe. Taking one last trip with this friend or that family member. I am looking so forward to that! The downside is of course that it will be the last trip. It sounds so gloomy. On the other hand, I hope that the next trips with these friends and family will be in New Zealand. A land with the most beautiful and friendly places I was promised.

This will be it for now. We will keep you updated with blogs and movies. E noho ra (goodbye)!
